Julia Peyton-Jones had tea with Doctor Zoé Whitley, Director of Chisenhale Gallery, London, and previously Senior Curator, Hayward Gallery, Southbank Centre, London.

In 2019, she curated Cathy Wilkes’ British Council commission in the British Pavilion at the 58th Venice Biennale. Prior to this, Whitley was Curator, International Art at Tate Modern (2014–2019) where she co-curated the acclaimed 2017 exhibition Soul of a Nation: Art in the Age of Black Power, currently touring the USA.
