TONY CRAGG. SILICON DIOXIDE at Museo del Vetro, Murano
SILICON DIOXIDE, the solo exhibition by Tony Cragg at the Museo del Vetro in Murano features a variety of works several of which have never been exhibited before. The exhibition retraces the most significant stages of the English artist’s career, starting with his assemblages, historical works of large dimensions in which small groups of objects are juxtaposed and brought together. The scene offered by the selection of sculptures on show faithfully reproduces Cragg’s artistic vision and his unique ability to communicate through glass, a material whose intrinsic geometries he has always been able to exploit. The exhibition is curated by Berengo Studio in collaboration with Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia.
