The first exhibition by a living artist to be presented by the Gallerie dell’Accademia in Venice. Conceived specifically for the museum and curated by Professor Kosme de Barañano, the exhibition will highlight Georg Baselitz’s relationship with Italy and explore how Italian art has impacted the artist's work over the years. The exhibition will include paintings, drawings and sculptures from Baselitz's remarkable sixty-year career.
