Elizabeth Peyton Close-Up

Concurrently with ArtBasel 2021, the work of Elizabeth Peyton will be presented this autumn at the Fondation Beyeler in a group exhibition focusing on nine women artists who have played an influential role in the history of modern art from 1870 to the present day. 

Despite their diversity of expression, the artists have in common an attention to the depiction of the human figure in portraits and self-portraits.
