Joseph Beuys Posters and multiples

9 May—1 August 2021
Kunsthalle der Sparkassenstiftung Lüneburg, Lüneburg

On the occasion of the 100th birthday of Joseph Beuys, the Kunsthalle der Sparkassenstiftung Lüneburg is showing posters and multiples by the artist from its own art archive as well as loans from private collections, along with photographs of the artist's work and portraits.

One focus of the exhibition is the project "7000 Eichen - Stadtverwaldung statt Stadtverwaltung" ("7000 Oaks - Urban Forestation instead of City Administration"), which Beuys contributed to documenta 7 in 1982 and which is gaining new relevance through the current discourse on sustainability.
