Oliver Beer Future Museology

Future Museology is an international collective curatorial exhibition presented as the reopening exhibition of the Busan Museum of Art.

Extending the global discourse initiated at the 2025 Future Museum Forum, the exhibition reimagines the museum’s 21st-century social role, technological conditions, knowledge production, and ecological responsibilities. Developed through a collaborative network of international art institutions—including partners such as CAFA Art Museum, ZKM, Ars Electronica, ACMI, and TBA21—the project proposes the museum not merely as a repository for display, but as an active site of experimentation, dialogue, and collective inquiry structured around key frameworks of Technology, Epistemology, and Ecology.

Oliver Beer presents Cat Orchestra(2024) alongside Resonance Painting (Starboy)(2026), inviting visitors to experience sound as a physical phenomenon that shapes space, sculpture, and painting.
