Georg Baselitz Oltre il Rinascimento. Tra Dürer e Parmigianino

The exhibition presents a rich selection of important Old Master prints from Georg Baselitz's highly prized private collection of sixteenth-century prints and the renowned collections of the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest, as well as a specially curated selection of the late artist's sculptures. The exhibition is dedicated to the extraordinary technical and aesthetic richness of the Mannerists' prints as well as the profound relationship Baselitz built with those masters over more than sixty years of research and collecting. It coincides with the exhibition dedicated to Baselitz's own printmaking at the Museo Novecento.
