FLO by Elsa Okazaki New publication on Florentina Holzinger

"FLO" is a photographic-essayistic book project that documents the artistic development of Florentina Holzinger and her ensemble over a period of eight years. The publication combines intimate photography, backstage glimpses, and performance footage with texts, reflections, and a conversation between the artist and the author.
The book traces a path from "TANZ" via "Ophelia's Got Talent" to the Venice Biennale, and illuminates Holzinger's aesthetic, political and social relevance from close up.
Elsa Okazaki, born 1976 in Schiltigheim, France; lives and works in Vienna.
