VALIE EXPORT Hommage à VALIE EXPORT

Curated by Sabine Folie on occasion of VALIE EXPORT's 80th birthday, LENTOS is presenting a selection of 30 works and series by the artist, including pieces from the museum's own collection and works that have never previsouly been exhibited.

Ranging from the 1970s to recent works, the in-depth survey focuses on EXPORT's research into the 'history of the body' – its connection to technology and machinery as well as its positioning under institutional and cultural systems of power. 

The exhibition is produced by the LENTOS Art Museum Linz and the VALIE EXPORT Center Linz.
