Oliver Beer The artist who makes ancient cave paintings sing

'Based between London and Paris, he has shown work in France at the Musée d’art Moderne de Paris and the Centre Pompidou; and in the US at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and MoMA PS1, but not as frequently in the UK. This is why he describes his show “The Sky in the Cave”, opening on June 5 at Thaddaeus Ropac, as a homecoming. The installation will combine large-scale paintings with film and music. It is the latest phase of an evolving project which started life in 2021.' — Tom Faber
