For the inaugural edition of Hannam Saturdays, Thaddaeus Ropac Seoul will be offering guided tours of the two shows conncurrently on view: group show That Inward Eye and Alex Katz Studies.
Hannam Saturdays is a new seasonal initiative inviting galleries across Hannam district to encourage deeper engagement and strengthening connections between the local galleries, artists, institutions, collectors, and the wider public.
Hannam has become one of Seoul's leading districts for contemporary art, and this ongoing collaboration among the galleries proposes a different rhythm, one in which exhibitions across the neighborhood are activated simultaneously through tours, conversations, artist led programs, and special events. By synchronizing these activations, Hannam Saturdays encourages visitors to experience the exhibitions not as a series of individual destinations, but as a connected network of creativity. At its core, Hannam Saturdays reflects a growing spirit of collaboration among the galleries that contribute to Hannams evolving cultural identity.
