Georg Baselitz: Eroi d'Oro Exhibition introduction and walk-through by JJ Charlesworth

Join ArtReview Editor and critic JJ Charlesworth for an early preview and exhibition walk-through of Georg Baselitz’s solo exhibition Eroi d'Oro, and an introduction with Luca Massimo Barbero, Curator and Director of the Institute of Art History of the Fondazione Giorgio Cini.
Responding to the artist's statement that these works are 'a summation of the paintings I've done over the years,' Charlesworth will look back on Baselitz’s decades of material experiments, and the ongoing preoccupations at the centre of his artmaking in what the artist has termed the concluding chapter of his career.

JJ Charlesworth is a writer and art critic. Since 2006, he has worked on the editorial staff of the London-based art magazine ArtReview, where he is one of the editors. His reviews, articles and commentaries have also appeared in publications including Art Monthly, Modern Painters, Time Out and the Spectator.
