Ilya and Emilia Kabakov: Ship of Tolerance The Ship of Tolerance sets sail from Jeddah

The Kabakovs’ acclaimed Ship of Tolerance, an educational project and monumental installation seeking to foster cultural exchange and community engagement, will set sail in Jeddah for the first time. Over 700 students from local schools have collaborated to create the paintings that make up the 14-metre tall vessel’s sail, which will be hoisted up on 14 February. The inauguration ceremony will be accompanied by a musical performance.
