An Encounter with Ron Mueck at Art Gallery of NSW

Brace yourself, Ron Mueck is coming to The Art Gallery of New South Wales, the artist’s largest exhibition ever shown in Australia and equal largest anywhere in the world. Celebrated for his uncannily lifelike, emotionally charged sculptures, Mueck has spent nearly three decades redefining figurative art with works that capture tender, unsettling and deeply human states of being. This Sydney-exclusive exhibition marks his first Australian showing in more than 10 years, bringing together major works loaned from around the globe and debuting a new immersive installation, Havoc 2025, created especially for Sydney. Presented as part of the Sydney International Art Series 2025–26, the exhibition is supported by Destination NSW.
