Robert Rauschenberg: UNA COLLEZIONE INATTESA. La Nuova Arte degli Anni Sessanta e un Omaggio a Robert Rauschenberg Solo exhibition curated by Luca Massimo Barbero at the Gallerie d'Italia
The Gallerie d'Italia in Milan present the temporary exhibition UNA COLLEZIONE INATTESA. La Nuova Arte degli Anni Sessanta e un Omaggio a Robert Rauschenberg, curated by Luca Massimo Barbero, Associate Curator of the Collezioni di Arte Moderna e Contemporanea della Banca, a tribute to the great American artist Robert Rauschenberg, and an unprecedented journey through contemporary art of the 1960s.
The exhibition, which features over 60 works, is spread across the monumental rooms of the Gallerie d'Italia in Milan, offering the public a rich and varied journey through the great radical experimentation of the 1960s, leading up to the most significant developments of the following decade. The exhibition is enriched by intense dialogues between works representative of both European and American conceptual visual culture. Once again, the Collezioni di Intesa Sanpaolo reveal themselves to the general public in an unexpected and surprising way, thanks in part to the fundamental contribution of the Collezione Luigi e Peppino Agrati, now part of the Collezioni di Arte Moderna e Contemporanea della Banca's artistic heritage. This is a unique opportunity to explore the evolution of contemporary art through a selection of rarely exhibited works.
