Gallerist Thaddaeus Ropac opens new location in Milan

9 January 2025

Thaddaeus Ropac, who has built a global company for contemporary art from the gallery he founded in Salzburg in 1983, will soon also be active in the Italian metropolis of Milan: The gallery announced on Thursday that it will occupy 280 square metres of exhibition space in the classicist Palazzo Belgioioso near Milan's opera house, La Scala, with sculptures on view in the square out front.

Ropac has appointed Elena Bonanno di Linguaglossa, an expert in Italian and American art with many years of experience in the art world, to manage the seventh location.
