Miquel Barceló, océanographe Miquel Barceló solo exhibition at Villa Paloma, Nouveau Musée National de Monaco, in Monte Carlo, Monaco

Through a selection of some sixty works (paintings, ceramics, embroidery, works on paper), the exhibition revisits the prolific output of Miquel Barceló, an artist who has placed the sea at the heart of his work.

Visitors are invited to embark on a journey from the origins of life to the evocation of a human presence behind his seascapes, his bestiary and numerous still lifes inherited from the bodegón tradition, through to powerful wave compositions and ceramics inspired by Antiquity.
