La Grande Bleue Group exhibition featuring Miquel Barceló at Singer Laren Museum in Laren, the Netherlands

 The exhibition focuses on Dutch artists and places them in the context of their French, Italian, Spanish and Belgian contemporaries and inspirations.

 The exhibition also features work by Dutch artists who have worked on the Italian Flower Riviera and on the islands of Capri, Mallorca, Corsica and Sicily. Although these artists also direct their gaze inland, the enchanting azure water surface of La Grande Bleue always remains nearby.

 With work by, among others, Miquel Barceló, Gustave Courbet, Johan Barthold Jongkind, Adolphe Monticelli, Théo Van Rysselberghe, Raoul Dufy, Louis Valtat, Pierre Bonnard, Joaquim Mir i Trinxet, William Degouve de Nuncques, Kees van Dongen, Leo Gestel, Isaac Israels, Otto van Rees, Wim Schuhmacher, Jan Sluijters, Charley Toorop, Hendrik Jan Wolter, Wim Oepts, Geer van Velde and Yves Klein.
