Young artists seeking a revolution in the long-standing genre of painting.
Heemin Chung focuses on the characteristics of images produced in the digital environment as well as the ways in which they are experienced. She explores the points at which this new sensibility encounters and collides with the traditional and static canvas of painting. She held solo exhibitions at Kumho Museum of Art (2018), Project Space Sarubia (2016), and participated in exhibitions at National Museum o f Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (2019), HITE Collection (2018), archive bomm (2017).
