A concert-performance with music composed and selected by Cory Arcangel and performed by organist Hampus Lindwall, Saturday 20 October, 8pm.
On this occasion Hampus Lindwall will perform the world premiere of Cory Arcangel's latest composition together with pieces by Phill Niblock and Marcel Duchamp.

Cory Arcangel (b. 1978, Buffalo, NY) is an artist and entrepreneur who lives and works in Stavanger, Norway and Brooklyn, New York. Over the past two years, Arcangel has completed several diverse projects. In collaboration with Olia Lialina, he recently toured the two-person show, “Asymmetrical Response” which traveled to the Western Front in Vancouver, the Kitchen in New York, and Art Projects Ibiza in Ibiza. He is also president of the publishing and merchandise company Arcangel Surfware, which recently opened a flagship store and gallery in Stavanger, Norway. His work is included in many public collections, including the MoMA in New York, the Tate in London, Berlin's Neue Nationalgalerie, and the Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst in Zürich.
Hampus Lindwall (1976) is a Swedish organist and composer living in Paris & Brussels. He is praised as a performer of contemporary and 20th century music and as a creative improviser. He was the last disciple of Rolande Falcinelli and is the Titular Organist in Saint-Esprit, Paris, a position made famous by Jeanne Demessieux who occupied it between 1933 and 1962.
Hampus Lindwall gives concerts throughout Europe, in the U.S.A., Canada and China. He is doing numerous collaborations and first performances with composers and artists like Cory Arcangel, Noriko Baba, Raphaël Cendo, John Duncan, Leif Elggren, Mauro Lanza & Jesper Nordin. He has released albums with Ligia Digital, Clean Feed Records, Firework Editions and Smeraldina Rima.
