김주리(1980년생)는 양가적 성질을 지닌 재료인 흙을 주요한 매체로 삼어 작업을 전개해 왔다. 견고하면서도 동시에 쉽게 붕괴하는 원초적인 물질을 통해 생성과 소멸을 대림되는 개념으로 제시하는 대신 하나의 연속된 흐름으로 다룬다.
