On 17 January 2025 at 7.30 pm there will be a screening of selected short films by VALIE EXPORT at the TQW Studios, followed by an artist talk – hosted by curator Andrea Mauerer – and a presentation of the publication. Free entry.

Performance Passage. Space for poetics of the In-Between is a curatorial project by Andrea Maurer in collaboration with the Tanzquartier Wien and the Museumsquartier Wien. The display, specially designed for the location, functions like a visual piano and complements Christoph Meier's spatial concept.
Since 2020, artists have been invited to compose their own score for the “lightbox piano”. The installation comes with an accompanying publication that can be purchased from the vending machine on site.
