United Artists collective partners with The Hexagon Society and LaCollection to raise funds for Ukraine

We are proud to support United Artists for Ukraine, a new fundraising initiative by United Artists collective to support cultural institutions and cultural projects in Ukraine that are severely affected by the war. According to UNESCO, over 150 cultural sites have been damaged or destroyed during the conflict. Beneficiaries of the projects include Odessa Fine Arts Museum (OFAM), the National Art Museum of Ukraine (NAMU), The Ukrainian Institute, The Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, the Harriman institute for Ukraine.

United Artists collective is an international community of collectors, curators, artists and galleries and its new initiative, United Artists for Ukraine, aims to help Ukraine rebuild and preserve its artistic and cultural scene.

Funds are raised through membership cards, which are designed by Ukrainian artist Irina Ozarinskaya and portray the most renowned artists in history. Some of the cards will be sold on 6 November 2022 at a major charity event at the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris, hosted by United Artists with the former French Minister of Culture, Jack Lang and organised by The Hexagon Society. The membership gives holders access to exclusive events organised by members of the collective, including Thaddaeus Ropac gallery, along with studio visits and one-off events with leading international artists, including Marina Abramović, Ron Arad and Shezad Dawood. Available on LaCollection’s platform, lacollection.io, the membership also provides exclusive access to selected works of art.

The event at the Institut du Monde Arabe will be punctuated by several happenings and performances including a Ukrainian Pop concert, a DJ set of "La Boum" and the preview of the creation of the virtual reality show Visit of the Ukraine Pavilion where an avatar will visit the Ukrainian museums in the metaverse.
