London Gallery Weekend will see 140 of London's leading contemporary art galleries coming together to launch a new, free-to-attend annual event, celebrating culture and creativity in the UK's capital city. The weekend will promote a daily focus hosted by a geographical area, starting with central London on Friday 4 June.

Watch a conversation between artist Tom Sachs and En Liang Khong, Director of Digital at ArtReview, on the occasion of Sachs’ new exhibition Ritual. Joining from his New York studio, Sachs will discuss the inspirations and processes behind the theme of Ritual, elaborating on his new sculptural works, references to artists Constantin Brancusi and Andy Warhol, and the urban and consumerist rituals that inform his practice – including a number of surprising rituals embedded within city life.

Join Tom Hunt, Director at Thaddaeus Ropac London, for a guided tour of our current exhibitions Robert Rauschenberg: Night Shades and Phantoms and Tom Sachs: Ritual. Hunt will lead a walkthrough of each show offering an introduction to the artists and unique insights into the individual works on display, with an opportunity for audience-led Q&A.
