In 1948, Maria Lassnig and Arnulf Rainer met in Klagenfurt. The years that followed had a great influence on their artistic work - visible until today. The exhibition dedicated to two of the most renowned Austrian artists showcases this creative assimilation while also focusing on each artist’s own individual styles.
The exhibition, which is on at the Lentos until May, will travel to Klagenfurt in summer, the place this artistic collaboration initiated.
