Presentation of new Georg Baselitz publications
On the occasion of Georg Baselitz’s exhibition Ein Bein von Manet aus Paris at Thaddaeus Ropac Paris Pantin, discover two newly released publications on the artist, now available for purchase.
The catalogue accompanying the exhibition features text by curator Bernard Blistène in English, French and German, as well as photographs from the artist’s studio that give an insight into the creation process behind the monumental works on view in the Pantin gallery.
The new special volume by Cahiers d’Art, dedicated to and created in collaboration with Georg Baselitz and his studio, features an essay by art historian Eric Darragon and an interview between curator Hans Ulrich Obrist and Elke Baselitz, wife of the artist, as well as two large-format folded reproductions of two of Baselitz’s works.
