Concert in the exhibition 'Anselm Kiefer: Nymphäum' On Saturday 13 June 2026 in Paris

13 June 2026
Paris Pantin

In collaboration with the Opéra-Comique, the gallery presents a concert within the exhibition Nymphäum.

Across more than 20 new paintings, Anselm Kiefer orchestrates richly layered paint and collaged elements to reimagine narratives sourced from classical mythology. The title of the exhibition translates as ‘nymphaeum’, referring to sanctuaries consecrated to the nymphs in ancient Greece and Rome. Kiefer transforms the gallery into his own painterly nymphaeum: a new chapter in the interweaving of myth and matter that has defined his practice for more than five decades.

The recital is inspired by three of Anselm Kiefer’s paintings: Iphigenie (2025), Merope (2022–25) and Salmakis und Hermaphroditos (2025).
