Renowned German artist Anselm Kiefer comes to the Getty to discuss his continuing exploration of the impact of ancient literature and philosophy on Western culture.
Anselm Kiefer's ideas are inspired by and will be dedicated to art historian Thomas McEvilley and his remarkable treatise, The Shape of Ancient Thought: Comparative Studies in Greek and Indian Philosophies.
